The Chair House™ Legal & Corporate Warranty Policy
Our Commitment to Quality
At The Chair House, we engineer our executive and ergonomic chairs using world-class materials, BIFMA-certified components, and rigorous testing standards. We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. Our comprehensive warranty ensures that your investment is protected, giving you total peace of mind as you upgrade your workspace.
🛡️ Warranty Coverage & Scope
The Chair House™ provides a structured, limited warranty on all eligible products, which automatically activates and becomes effective precisely from the official date of delivery as recorded by our third-party logistics network.
This warranty covers structural defects and functional failures under normal indoor office/residential use (up to 8–10 hours a day) arising from technical manufacturing defects in material or workmanship during the designated coverage timeline.
2.1 Core Structural & Component Coverages
Covered components under proper, intended usage parameters include:
- The Pneumatic Gas Lift: Any failure or leakage in the Class-4 hydraulic height adjustment mechanism.
- The Tilt & Lock Mechanism: Malfunctions in mechanical control platforms, including knee-tilt, center-tilt, multi-lock, or synchro-tilt base mechanisms.
- The Structural Frame: Breakage, warping, or weldment fractures of the internal structural iron, aluminum, or plywood framework.
- The Base & Casters: Cracking or structural failure of the nylon, aluminum, or chrome star base assembly and the PU caster wheels.
- Armrests: Manufacturing faults in adjustable or fixed armrest core assemblies.
📝 Note: Specific warranty periods (such as 3-Year or 5-Year coverage) vary by chair model. Please refer to your specific product’s page and your original tax invoice for the exact duration of your coverage.
❌ Warranty Exclusions
To remain fair and transparent, this limited warranty is strictly functional and structural. It does not apply to aesthetic changes, environmental aging, or damages resulting from external, non-factory variables. The Chair House™ explicitly excludes the following from coverage:
- Normal Wear and Tear: Gradual degradation, cosmetic changes, micro-tears, stretching, wrinkling, thinning, or natural flattening of mesh, fabric, leatherette, genuine leather upholstery, and foam padding that occurs naturally over a period of standard daily usage.
- Accidental & Superficial Damage: Cuts, scratches, burns, fading, or stains on the upholstery caused by sharp objects, pets, spills, or harsh environmental exposure.
- Improper Assembly & Modifications: Damage caused by failing to follow the provided assembly instructions, using incorrect tools, executing structural alterations, or third-party repairs made without our prior written consent.
- Misuse & Weight Overloading: Damage or component warping resulting from operational negligence, dropping the unit, or exceeding the stated maximum weight capacity of the specific chair model.
- Commercial Non-Compatibility: Use of standard residential-grade products within high-traffic commercial, industrial, institutional, or outdoor settings, unless the product variant was explicitly rated, sold, and commercially invoiced by our B2B division for heavy-duty corporate use.
📋 Commercial Purpose, Data Processing, & Verification Protocols
To maintain an institutional-grade service framework and protect against fraudulent claims, user data and claim management are handled under strict corporate guidelines:
- Transactional Follow-Up: We securely retain and utilize warranty-related customer contact details (including phone numbers, shipping addresses, and corporate email matrices) to actively communicate, follow up, and execute logistics regarding filed claims, replacement parts tracking, and on-site technician scheduling.
- Archival & Records Management: Our centralized ERP systems permanently store and process historical data regarding your specific product configuration, batch numbers, invoice records, and purchase dates to facilitate instant warranty verification and support lifecycle management.
- Mandatory Technical Inspections: The Chair House™ (or a certified third-party logistics/engineering agency acting strictly on our corporate behalf) reserves the absolute right to physically inspect the product asset or request comprehensive digital evidence to objectively verify the validity of the warranty claim.
- Customer Autonomy & Data Privacy: If you choose not to have your product serviced or repaired under these warranty guidelines, we will respect your decision. We maintain a strict data privacy framework and do not sell, trade, lease, or otherwise market your warranty-related data to independent third-party advertising networks, restricting data access solely to internal The Chair House™ corporate affiliates and logistics handlers.
⚠️ Legal Coverage Limitations & Statutory Restrictions
The Chair House™ processes and evaluates all incoming warranty claims based strictly on the exact coverage terms, durations, and disclosures provided to the customer at the time of purchase, unless a deviation or cross-border processing requirement is legally mandated by one of the following exceptional conditions:
- The processing is strictly required for an additional administrative or operational purpose that is directly and intrinsically related to the original purpose for which the warranty file was issued.
- The processing is explicitly necessary to evaluate, diagnose, clean, repair, or replace specific functional parts of the product under active coverage.
- The intervention, data sharing, or product hold is formally required by national law, statutory mandates, or competent governmental, judicial, and regulatory authorities.
- The retention of inspection data and communication logs is legally necessary to establish, exercise, validate, or preserve a legal corporate claim or formal legal defence in a court of law.
- The diagnostic inspection or claim denial is deemed entirely necessary to actively prevent product misuse, commercial fraud, organized return-loop exploitation, or other illegal retail activities.

We will also provide step-by-step guidance on how to easily swap out the component.
🧼 Product Care & Auxiliary Clauses
7.1 Product Use and Maintenance Mandate
To maintain the absolute validity of your warranty throughout its designated lifecycle, all products must be strictly used, cleaned, and structurally maintained in accordance with the care instructions, weight capacities, and ergonomic guidelines provided by the brand. Failure to perform basic hardware maintenance (such as tightening loose structural bolts every six months) may void coverage.
7.2 Protection of Minors
The Chair House™ will not knowingly process technical warranty claims or collect personal identifiers submitted directly by children without verified adult or parental consent, if required by applicable regional laws. Warranty submissions involving minors must be reviewed in line with relevant consumer regulations and adult supervision frameworks.
7.3 Data Security Infrastructure
To ensure the completely secure, tamper-proof handling of warranty-related customer records, engineering logs, and identity files, and to protect them against unauthorized digital access, data breaches, or leaks, The Chair House™ employs robust, end-to-end encrypted internal systems and secure cloud servers for all claim management, database tracking, and customer communications.
7.4 Policy Interconnectivity
This document operates as a specialized framework and works in close conjunction with our general Company Terms & Conditions and global Privacy Policy. Users are advised to review those documents on our main portal for comprehensive details regarding liability caps and jurisdictional boundaries.
7.5 Digital Marketing & Google AdWords
The Chair House™ utilizes Google AdWords Remarketing cookies and digital tracking pixels to promote specialized warranty support extensions, care plans, and product maintenance services across the internet. This digital marketing activity is handled via automated tracking loops; it does not have any operational impact, visibility, or influence over your actual warranty claims, engineering assessments, or coverage outcomes. Cookies used for remarketing purposes do not identify personal users or affect your official claim status.
